Students have produced some outstanding work over the years, and the Student Showcase displays a sampling of the best. For anonymity purposes, I have removed all identifying names from the projects which have been amassing over several years. Nathan's Corner Web-based Portfolio		This is a sophisticated example of a web-based portfolio, developed over a two-year period. It contains several multimedia reports, sample portfolio entries, and a personal journal entry. Its presentation is professional and highly creative, as well as technologically advanced in craftsmanship.
Math In My Brain Paper		This paper was submitted as a sophomore enrichment project. It is by far the most original reflection a student has ever shared with me and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The logic and reasoning presented in such a contemplative manner offer a unique reading experience worth checking out!.
Fibonacci Sequence PowerPoint		This is a wonderful multimedia report on the Fibonacci Sequence. It provides the definition, historical context, and several natural occurances of the special sequence--and the sophomore fully documented her resources of information.
Greek Philosophy and Math Pop-Up Book		This pop-up book briefly summarizes the many contributions that Greek philosophers have made toward the advancement of mathematics and logical reasoning. It is one of the most creative presentations of traditional material I've seen.
Home-Run Derby Calculator Game		After studying parametric equations in Precalculus, two students created a game called Home-Run Derby. The game simulates hitting a baseball with or without wind (using a calculator program they wrote) and determines whether or not it is a homerun in various major league ballparks.
