Discovering Shakespeare
Using Database Resources
& the Study of Shakespeare
Completing
your task:
The
object of your search is to master a small aspect of Shakespeare’s life, times,
or culture and present it as a short (1-2 page SS is length) paper and/or class
presentation. Your paper or
presentation is worth 25 points (MW) and will be graded for the following (of
course, document the site):
depth
of material presented
accuracy
of the material
interest
level of the paper or presentation
professional presentation of the paper or presentation
effort
and focus
If
you followed the directions below, you should be at the Exploring
Shakespeare page. All you have to
do now is explore the site until you find something you are particularly
interested in and from which think you can get enough material for your
paper. It is ok if you have the same
topic as a classmate.
Next,
simply browse through your particular topic and collect all the info you
can. We will have two days in the lab,
so take your time and be thorough. Explore related sites and ideas as well.
Getting
to the Discovering Site:
1.
Go to the Hilliard Davidson web site.
It is probably book-marked, but if not, go to http://wildcats.hilliard.k12.oh.us/.

Once there, choose FAST CONNECTIONS.
This will take you to the main page.

4.
On the next page, choose the “Research Links” link at the top of the page.

and click ahead.
